Here are a few dining spots that we have featured of late...

South End Pita, Boston, MA
a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant on the outer edge of the South End that serves quick meals at reasonable prices.

Maria Di Napoli Ristorante, Newton, MA
an utterly unknown (and excellent) family-run Italian restaurant in the Nonantum section of Newton.

Golden Garden, Belmont, MA
a dining spot in a residential area near the Cambridge line that focuses on the cuisine of Northeast China.

Venus Cafe, Whitman, MA
a well-worn watering hole in Whitman Center that has some of the best bar pizza south of Boston.

Polls, Polls, and More Polls

Facebook recently started a new feature where people and businesses can post polls for their friends and fans to answer. Our Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook page is now posting polls at least a couple of times a week, asking questions related to restaurants, food, and drinks.

If you would like to see some of the questions we have asked so far, please go to our Facebook page (see link above) or our quick polls and Facebook questions section. And please don't hesitate to participate in any of the polls that are posted!

Ice Cream Stands in New England

With the warm weather firmly in place now, people's thoughts turn to beaches, outdoor activities such as biking and hiking, and, of course, ice cream. There are countless places in New England to find it, but we have some personal favorites, a number of which we have included within the website.

Each ice cream stand and shop within our ice cream feature includes a brief description plus an address and phone number. And we have added a few just outside of New England as well, in case your travels take you a little west of the region. More will be added to the list over time, so keep checking back!
