We used to go all the time, but haven't been till today in 2 years. The food is ok,and the prices have gone up quite a bit since then. $90 (and no we did not get prime rib or lobster) for 2 adults 1 kid and a toddler. We go out once a week and it never costs us that much. Also they have a smaller portion menu but there is no kids menu so they end up with more food than necessary and you pay more for them to waste half their plates.

The last time I ate dinner there was a month ago. I had the fried clams and scallop combo. The clams were overcooked as were the fries. I go there all the time; will try one more time.

The Crow's Nest is a good restaurant. Their steamers for $10.50, calamari, clams casino are excellent. Their snail salad is tough. The lobster roll everyone recommends is the biggest rip off. A big bun with lots of lettuce and a little amount of lobster for $15.00. Also they charge 3.00 for a glass of coke. The rest of the meal - stuffed lobster, swordfish and mac and clams were very good. Certainly I would recommend them because all restaurants have issues.

This is a great place to take your grandmother on Mother's Day. That's about it. Old decor, old menu, old clientele....

What's happened to the Crow's Nest.
My last 2 visits were a total disappointment!
At one time I would have given CN a 5 Star rating, but they are and have been slipping. On our last visit with family from CA, linguine and clams had to be sent back...clams were tough. Broiled scallops had 0 flavor. Same with the salmon dish I ordered. Watch out for the $8.50 snail salad...you get just that... a small side salad with pieces of snail that you can count (and too tough to eat)!!! Bye bye Crow's Nest.
