What are some of your favorite apple orchards in the Boston area or elsewhere in New England? What kinds of apples do they have for picking? Do they also have farmstands or are they just places to pick apples? [Go here to post a reply.]

Bolton Spring Farms out in Bolton MA, it's family run by the Stephenson's. They have a decent farm stand with veggies and a great bakery selection. Oh and try the fresh cider donuts on the weekends.
