Casual Hotel Bars in Boston?

RSS button (From Our Questions and Answers Feature)

Are there any hotel bars in Boston that are casual and where drinks don't cost an arm and a leg? I love the feel of hotel bars, as they are usually pretty quiet and mellow places, but most of the hotels in Boston seem a bit on the stuffy and formal side. The only one I tend to go to (Solas in the Back Bay) isn't a true hotel bar, but it is connected to a hotel, and I love the feel of the place. Any others? [Go here to post a reply.]

City Bar...not super cheap, but always low-key, good drinks, great service. It feels like a quiet hideaway in a sea of gross back bay bars. :)

Try Tamo at the Seaport Hotel...for a waterfront hotel the drinks are good and fairly reasonable!
