Who Has Better Scones: Greenhills Bakery or Mannion's?

RSS button (From Our Questions and Answers Feature)

I've had the scones at Mannion's Restaurant in Quincy and absolutely love them, but I've been hearing commercials on WRKO lately about the scones at Greenhills Bakery in the Adams Village section of Dorchester? Who has the better scones? Is it possible that the ones at Greenhills are better than those at Mannion's? [Go here to post a reply.]

Well, it looks like I can answer my own question. Since Mannion's is now closed, it looks like Greenhills Bakery is indeed the place to go for scones! Although maybe I shouldn't jump so fast on that, as the place that opened in the old Mannion's spot (I believe it is called the Granite Street Grill) is continuing to serve scones as well as brown bread. If anyone tries them there, please let me know!
