Best Honey in New England?
Who do you think makes the best honey in New England? Is it one of the many little independent places found throughout the region, or perhaps one of the bigger honey producers? What type(s) of honey do they produce? [Go here to post a reply.]

I don't buy enough honey to talk about "best," but I picked up a bottle at the Jamaica Plain farmer's market this summer that is fantastic, full of interesting floral nuances I'd never encountered in honey. It's called Kirk Webster's Golden Rule Honey, a raw, organic honey produced via sustainable, chemical-free methods in the Champlain Valley of Vermont. It's distributed by Golden Rule Honey in Leominster, MA. A kind of spur-of-the-moment farmer's market purchase, but I never knew honey could be so tasty!
