What restaurants in the Boston area have the best lobster ravioli? Are there any old-school Italian restaurant that make a nice version? Any upscale gastropubs or New American restaurants that put out a decent lobster ravioli? [Go here to post a reply.]

Monica's on Richmond St. in the North End! I eat lobster ravioli whenever I see it on the menu in Boston and that is by far the best! D'Parma in Winthrop is a close second!

The Atlantic Fish Company on Boylston ... the lobster ravioli is served with chunks of lobster on top and in a sauce that is clean-with-your-bread delicious!

Bertucci's. Not a gastropub or old-school. But they make a fine lobster ravioli. Served with a fantastic sauce with whole cloves of garlic in it.

Villa Francesca on Richmond St in the North End. If you're looking for some take out--Dino's on Salem St in the North End (cheap, delicious, and LOTS of it!)

I agree with Emily - VINOTECA di MONICA on Richmond street in the North End is my favorite. I do order it when I see it on menu elsewhere but no one lives up (so far) to Vinoteca di Monica. I used to LOVE the lobster ravioli at Rabias on Salem st. however they changed their recipe about 4 years ago and I have not been back since.
Looking forward to trying some of the others listed here to see if they measure up!

Not just because Guy Fieti says they are the best he has had. I will say it as well Rino's in East Boston is the best lobster ravioli you would ever eat. Just watch dinners dives and drive ins on you tube and you will see what I mean literally lobster tail meat in freshly made ravioli with chunks of lobster on mixed in with a superb sauce. I've never had anything like it. My wife gets the broccoli rabe with sausage that is delicious too.
