What are some good local breakfast places in the Boston area? I'm thinking particularly of neighborhood townie joints that are cheap, friendly, and have decent food and coffee. [Go here to post a reply.]

McKenna's Cafe in Dorchester. I wake up at 5am for the home fries.
Sorella's in the Hyde Square section of JP.
I think the Hearth N Kettle has the best breakfast awesome omlettes and of course breakfast ALL day yum

Ball Sq Cafe is way better than SoundBites. Renee's in Teele Sq.

@BrownstoneBOS Brunch every Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Can't beat the Corned Beef Hash.
@dbar for Sunday brunch! Amazing french toast! Great staff! Outdoor patio. McKenna's and DotToDot are also good.
