Any idea how to replicate a North Shore style (Nick's, Kelly's etc) roast beef sandwhich at home? Cut of meat? Cooking process? [Go here to post a reply.]

You will need to get a top round cut from the butcher. Before cooking baste it with oil, soybean is very good. Cook until 130 degrees. Let stand at room temperature for half hour. To get the slices real thin, you need a home meat slicer. Anything with a 7 or 9 inch blade should be ok. Slice the meat very thin. Also get an onion roll or just a plain Sunbeam bread roll from bakery or market. If you the like the sauce they use it is James River BBQ sauce. Enjoy
