Casa Romero's patio. But don't tell anyone, please. It's so small and hidden, that even people who are regulars don't always know it exists.

Sullivan's of course. Great walk around Castle Island. Not sure if it's exactly "dining" though!

Food can be inconsistent but ester's patio is a terrific, totally urban space.

Allora. A little outside of Boston though.

Temazcal in the Seaport has a nice patio too, right on the water.

This stretches the definition of "around Boston," but the Red Rock Grill and Bar is a great place to eat, indoors or out. Set amidst tall pines, from the patio you can wander over to a lake. There are even kayaks and fishing poles available to rent at Good 2 Go, the attached cafe/sandwich/ice cream shop. A beach volleyball court is also available. The restaurant, itself, offers inventive comfort food for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. Highlights include chicken pot pie spring rolls, meatloaf with stout gravy and roasted tomato over pumpernickel toast and mashed potato, fowl hash (turkey, chicken, and duck with sweet potato), and the best brownie sundae I've ever had.

Definitely KO Pies in East Boston, such a great outdoor vibe there on the water plus cornhole boards!

While Sullivan's in Southie is overall great, you still can't beat Kelly's Roast Beef at Revere Beach!
