We Have Been Featured on Zagat and WBZ!

Lots of exciting things have happened over the past few months, including our being featured on WBZ's Connoisseur's Corner and the Zagat Blogroll. Thanks to Jordan Rich of WBZ (and Annie Copps of Yankee Magazine, who was on with Jordan) as well as the good folks at Zagat for their interest in the Boston's Hidden Restaurants site!

Our Latest Restaurant Reviews

Here are a few restaurants that we have recently reviewed...

Townsend's, Hyde Park, MA
a friendly, comfortable place in Hyde Park that is a bit more upscale than your typical Irish pub.

Mario's Italian Restaurant, Lexington, MA
an old-fashioned Italian spot in Lexington Center that has been around for a very long time.

La Posada, Arlington, MA
a tiny restaurant in Arlington Heights that features a number of authentic Mexican dishes.

Sichuan Garden, Brookline, MA
an unassuming dining spot in Brookline Village that rivals some of the best places in Boston's Chinatown.

Come Talk With Us!

As some of you know, this year we started hosting live online food discussions within the site. Some of the topics we have covered include little-known restaurants in the Boston area (of course!), restaurants that local chefs like to go to, independent eateries near some of the busiest sections of Boston, and cheap eats around college areas.

Even though our food discussions include panels of media folks, chefs, food writer and bloggers, and others who may be familiar to you, we also open the talks to you, our viewers. If you would like to participate in any future chats, check for updates on our discussions via our Facebook and Twitter pages.

This Issue's Feature

Random Food/Restaurant Photos

In our last newsletter, we talked about the new food photos feature that has been added to Boston's Hidden Restaurants. Well, we have started another photo feature on the website, with this one including pictures that generally don't fit into existing categories on the site, but may be of interest to our viewers.

Unlike the food photos feature, which is pretty straightforward (pictures of food from restaurants we have been to), the random photos feature covers a variety of topics, including some rather offbeat and humorous pictures (see the thumbnail above!). We will be expanding this feature over the coming months, so keep checking back to see what we have added!
