Ice Cream Stands in New England

The warm weather is finally here, and you know what that means--ice cream! New Englanders love their ice cream stands, and there sure are a lot of them in the region. But which ones are worth going to? And which ice cream stands are lesser known than some of the more popular ones?

Boston's Hidden Restaurants has a page that gives a list of ice cream stands in New England, many of which are not well known. Included on the page are addresses and phone numbers, as well as a brief description. So get out there and enjoy a cone during the next heat wave!

A Question from the Editor:

What is your favorite outdoor dining spot in New England?

Tell us about a great restaurant with outdoor dining in our restaurant forum; we might feature it on the site over the next few months. [ED NOTE: We have taken out the link to our forum, as it is now closed.]
