Bubby's Pie Company
120 Hudson Street
Manhattan (Tribeca), NY 10013
Phone: (212) 219-0666

If you want to try a place in Tribeca, downtown in New York, go to Bubbys Pie Co. at 120 Hudson St. Not a fancy place like in the rest of Tribeca. Home-made cooking and informal atmosphere. Good selection of entrees which changes, maybe daily. Try the assortment of lemonades. I had watermelon flavored. Also leave room for the home-made pies.

Rock Pond Restaurant
206 West Main Street (Route 133)
Georgetown, MA 01833
Phone: (978) 352-7600

Our favorite restaurant is Rock Pond Restaurant located at 206 West Main Street, (rte. 133) Georgetown, Ma. They serve American, Italian, Seafood, and the best Lebanese food around, reminiscent of the old "Bishops Restaurant" in Lawrence. All the middle eastern specialties are authentic, homemade, and delicious. Their lamb and beef is equal to any of the upscale Boston steakhouses. Their fish is fresh, not frozen. All the menu items are made from the finest quality ingredients. They also have a couple of function rooms as well as a nice lounge that features live entertainment on the weekends. The owners and staff are friendly and will accommodate any reasonable request. The food is prepared fresh to order, not prepackaged and frozen. Living next to Newburyport, we have a large amount of restaurant choices, but Rock Pond has easily become our favorite. We hope they get the recognition they deserve as one of the finest hidden restaurants we have been to in a long time.

The Oyster Cabin
785 Quaker Highway
Uxbridge, MA 01569
Phone: (508) 278-4440

The Oyster Cabin is located in south central Massachusetts, minutes from the Rhode Island border. Situated on the Quaker Highway, the Oyster Cabin looks from the outside to be another place to play Keno by the bar. Nothing could be further from the truth, as the lovely dimly-lit, dark-wooded dining rooms accommodate the most romantic at heart. Owned by Christopher Phaneuf, a renowned chef who has honed his craft at restaurants such as Chez Phillipe at the Peabody Hotel, Memphis, Tenn., Willard Dining Room at the Willard InterContinental Hotel, Washington, D.C. and Jean-Louis at the Watergate Hotel, Washington, D.C., the Oyster Cabin beats out most Boston and Providence establishments at their own game: new American cuisine with a flair. The service is warm and unpretentious and the spotless, incredibly organized and efficient mammoth kitchen turns out some of the most delicious dinner selections in New England.

Antonio's Pizza
258 Thayer Street
Providence, RI 02906
Phone: (401) 455-3600

Antonio's Pizza on Thayer street in Providence is by far the best pizza, and really the only good pizza on the east coast (that I have found). Boston doesn't have good pizza; this is the closest you can find. Very creative toppings, ranging from pesto-tortellini to chicken parm to black beans and rice. It is all amazingly delicious and really cheap!

The combination of great food and ambiance at the Sherborn Inn is wonderful. Keeping a colonial tradition in New England is so important.
