Five Great Sandwiches in the Boston Area

photo of an Italian sub from Lambert's, Dorchester, MAA new photo slideshow is up, and for this one, we are posting a new list that focuses on some of our favorite sandwiches in the Boston area. As with previous slideshows, the photos here show items from places that mostly aren't all that well known (the breakfast sandwich from McKay's in Quincy or the corned beef sandwich from Inna's Kitchen in Newton, for example). And as always, there are plenty of other photos that we could have posted here, but these five seemed to be among the cream of the crop for this time around.

More slideshows will be on the way over the coming weeks, so check back using the "slideshows" tag below. Also, if you have any suggestions for new slideshows, please let us know.

Here is the slideshow on five great sandwiches in the Boston area. Have a happy National Sandwich Day tomorrow!

Yikes! Have you never been to All Star Sandwich Bar in Cambridge to taste their incredible, daily-changing restaurant entrees on bread? A massive omission, BHR. Go for the Atomic Meatloaf tonight, but better yet, go for a free Harpoon beer tomorrow on Nat'l Sandwich Day - with any order between 5 and 9 PM. Yeah!
