Bill's has gone downhill for the past few years. Been going every year for about 14 yrs. It's not as good as it use to be. When you order fried clams and they bring it out to you in about 2 minutes with lukewarm fries something tells me it was premade sitting under a heat lamp. Last time around 8/1 was just so-so. Won't be back, and thats too bad. It was my FAVORITE place to go for so many years. Now it seems like they're just using the name Bill's to attract $$$. Wear bug spray because the no-see-ums are fierce.

Bill's has the hands down best fried clams I've ever had. Better than Lenny and Joes, better than the Clam Box in Ipswich. The batter is light and you can tell the clams have not been sitting in it. All of that with outdoor seating and a Dixieland band!

There's BETTER. Marginal portions. So-so service. Prices could be better. Drinks ok.
