Mike from Portsmouth, Rhode Island says:
I have been to Casa Christine many, many times. I have also been to many different restaurants around the country. I have not been to one restaurant, whether incredibly expensive or not, that touches how good the food is at Casa Christine. There have been some extremely expensive places that come somewhat close, but that is the beauty of Casa Christine. It is extremely inexpensive for how good the food is. Main course dinners are mostly all under $20. There is one small catch though. Christine, the owner, runs it and is there every night running the place. The catch is that she is a little different than most restaurant owners. She is a little harsh on the treatment of the customers, and some people do take offense to it. But since I have been going there for so many years, I find it extremely entertaining. The rest of the wait staff is fine, they are relatives of Christine. But some people get shocked when they see Christine for the first time and see how she acts.
So my recommendation is obviously the highest you can get. If you like extremely good food and the most tender meat you will ever eat, this is the place for you. Just beware of Christine and don't take offense to some of the things she may say or do.
