A great spot for traditional Italian, when dining you feel as though you may see Lou cabratsie step out of the kitchen, the night we went, we saw Julia Roberts there, the waiter told us she is friends with the owners, anyway great Italian, and enough for lunch the next day.

We have had the absolute best experiences at Maria's. The food is outstanding, my favorite is the chicken marsala. My wife and I rate Maria's as the best and we continually recommend the restaurant with positive feedback from friends.

Bleck!!!! Truly the worst meal I have ever had in a restaurant, anywhere! The entire meal was inedible, from the salad of tired, bitter romaine with bottled dressing to the "spaghetti con vongole" (soggy, overcooked angel hair pasta with a mess of nasty canned clams poured over it). What a shame...I remember many years ago when this place was among the best restaurants in Portland!
