Lobsta Land, Gloucester: Worth the Trip?

(From Our Questions and Answers Feature)

I've always been curious about Lobsta Land, which is that seafood restaurant at the Rust Island exit that can be seen from Route 128 in Gloucester. How does it compare to other seafood places in Gloucester and Rockport, particularly The Causeway Restaurant, Captain Carlo's, The Lobster Pool, and the Gloucester House Restaurant. Is Lobsta Land open in the winter? [Go here to post a reply.]

Think it is closed right now for the season. Worth a try, but not a long trip.

Hidden gem. You must go for either brunch or dinner. All the food is fantastic and the seafood is extraordinary. Try the sushi-grade tuna or stews. Drinks are great as well. Priced nicely and you will leave with a smile.
