Favorite Way to Roast Red Peppers?

(From Our Questions and Answers Feature)

What are some different ways to prepare roasted red peppers? Any favorite ways of roasting them? Any really simple ways? I was thinking of roasting some peppers for a macaroni and cheese dish, but because it is so cold outside, I can't really do them on the BBQ grill, which is how I would like to do them. Any other options that would give the peppers some good flavor and isn't all that time-consuming? [Go here to post a reply.]

Toaster oven. Cut them in half (or smaller if you need to), throw them on some foil, and put them in the toaster oven on Broil. You can do them in the broiler of your oven, too, but if you're just doing a few, the toaster oven will be fine.
