Vegetarian Restaurants in Boston?

(From Our Questions and Answers Feature)

An acquaintance of mine recently asked me if there were any vegetarian restaurants in the Boston area and I honestly didn't know. There are plenty of Asian restaurants that have many vegetarian options on their menus, but they are not purely vegetarian (and he was more interested in non-Asian options, anyways). Can anyone think of any restaurants around Boston that focus on vegetarian or vegan food? [Go here to post a reply.]

As a vegetarian transplant to Boston, I've got an eye peeled for the best options...
Upstairs on the Square has mighty fine veg choices for lunch and dinner, but not so much for brunch.
Christopher's in Cambridge does it all and has great beer to boot.
Fuji in Wollaston as well as Beni and Kagawa in Quincy all rock the veggie sushi options, as I'm sure many others do.
And then there's the Channel Cafe near South Station on Summer. One of the best house made veggie burgers I've ever had.
And that's just off the top of my head!
