(From Our Glossary Feature)
Bibimbap is a popular Korean dish that typically consists of vegetables, meat, and hot sauce mixed together over rice and served in a bowl. Vegetables often used include mushrooms, spinach, cucumbers, bean sprouts, zucchini, and lettuce. Not all versions of bibimbap contain meat, but when they do, ground beef or bulgogi (grilled and marinated meat) is usually chosen.
