A dosa is a crepe-like Indian dish that consists of a number of items (vegetables and sometimes meat) wrapped in batter, then fried. The batter is typically made using ground rice and/or lentils, while the ingredients inside can include items such as chicken, lamb, garlic, ginger, potatoes, and onions. Dosas are more of a Southern Indian food, but restaurants that specialize in Northern Indian food sometimes feature this dish, too.
