We went to a food truck in Wellfleet called Sunbird. They're doing local, organic food and it was FAB; eggplant, micro greens, pickled onion and a fried egg on peasant bread. Great outdoor seating area with container gardens. Loved it.
Joyce G. R.
I went to the Yardarm in Orleans
McCabes in Cambridge
I went to Ward 8, Galleria 33, Antico Forno, and Lo Conte's. Exploring the North End obviously. Ward 8 and Galleria were both excellent.
Island Creek Oyster Bar (10th birthday request), Little Q Hot Pot, Sorrento's Pizza (takeout by the pool)
The Rudder in Gloucester. Great atmosphere on the water in Rocky Neck. Completely packed and the service and food suffered because of it. Waitress was completely overwhelmed. Food is usually pretty good there and most of it was on Saturday except chicken came out medium rare on a salad. I'll still go back.
Ab Fab in melrose.
Does Town Spa in Stoughton count? A guilty pleasure for the family!
7th Wave in Rockport, Bearskin Neck. My first lobster roll of the season! Very good slightly too much butter on the roll. Really fresh fish on the fish & chips too
The Blackfish tavern in Truro. Takeout from Savory's and The Sweet Escape
Back Bay Harry's
Loretta's Last Call -Boston
Boston Beer Works-Boston
Port City Sandwich Company-Newburyport

Red Fox Bar & Grille in Jackson, NH...amazing French Onion Soup and Hobbs Tavern and Brewing Company in Ossipee, NH (formerly Whittier House Restaurant).....food is fantastic, great brews and they are setting up their own brewery.
Krissy G. B.
Russell House Tavern/Harvard Sq & Stoddards/Downtown Xing.
MC Spiedo in the Innovation District. Probably the only restaurant I've ever been that serves Medici-style Italian cuisine from the 14th century.
Basta Pasta in Quincy. Love that place.
Longhorn Palace in Lincoln NH for breakfast and Tilt'n Diner for lunch, Mangia Mangia in Billerica for dinner
Kathy H. N.
Woodman's in Essex
Passport in Weymouth Landing - outstanding!
Well, we had Firefly's at the Mendon Drive-in on Saturday, if that counts.
We went to The Community Oven in Hampton, N.H. for some great pizza, followed by beers at Blue Lobster Brewing (right next door).
Karl's Sausage Kitchen Cafe.
Tried Cheeburger Cheeburger with my kid. The faux retro interior with really poorly designed signage gave me hives, the burgers were decent, shakes were too sweet. Visitors requested dinner at the Landing in Marblehead. The food is overpriced and underwhelming, but the deck is a great place to sip a drink and watch the comings and goings of the harbor.
Went to try Noodles & Co. which I rank above Panera and below Wagamama, but a good addition to the chain fast good scene. Kimball Farms for ice cream.

Fought the Father's Day crowd at Neptune Oyster... the johnnycake made it all worth it.
7th Wave Restaurant
Row 34 tapped a rare Cantillon on Sunday and I had to pick my wife up at South Station. A pile of raw oysters, a few fried oysters and clams, tuna crudo, smoked trout, and a lobster roll were natural accompaniments.
Suzanne L. L.
McCabe's On Mass. - North Cambridge (formerly Dubliners, etc.) - sibling of Bull McCabes. Very comfortable atmosphere, attentive and friendly waitstaff - and not overbearing, and very good food. I had a small plate of a couple tacos which were delicious, my husband had a rib entree which he really enjoyed. Also had a grilled focaccia small plate which was a good appetizer with our beer. Good beer list (I would have liked a couple more choices in the craft department, but they're a new place). Great air-conditioning (we'll definitely make this a regular hot-weather stop if that keeps up), and a few large t.v. screens that weren't too loud. Good place to catch the world cup (if you're into that), or, hopefully, hockey come fall.

We tried to go to Neptune Oyster yesterday but it was like a 1.5 hour wait. Instead we went to our old stand-by, Al Dente, and it was delicious as always.
Barcelona Wine Bar in DC. There's one in Brookline. Great tapas and, of course, an excellent wine list!
Millie's Kitchen in Crystal Cove, Winthrop. Just sandwiches but the $12 lobster rolls looked a lot better than the $32 ones at Belle Isle. Those folks should be ashamed.
Iggy's in Warwick RI. I had the fish 'n' chips, while we all passed around some clam cakes...
We were lazy today. After coming back from Church we just wanted to have something good closed from home. We decided to stop by at FRESH UNO that opened last Thursday and let me tell you....Absolutely horrible experience. Their sandwiches are "kids size" the cheapest one is 8.99. The food... no taste at all... we also ordered a deep plate salad, it suppose it came with chick peas and green beans, etc. We couldn't find them. We asked them that salad wasn't served right...and the server just said.... oh...we don't have these ingredients No apologies at all, we ordered Mango Ice Tea and it was bitter, sour, not cold at all. Very bad experience. We came home and I have to cook It is not good addition for our Town.
Just tried The Old Havana Cuban Restaurant in Jamaica Plain for the first time tonight. Awesome meal! I tried Mofongo, which I had heard about through various food shows. Definitely worth trying!

The Publik House in Washington Sq. Gorged on beers and their amazing fries.

Aquitaine in chestnut hill for brunch, Hei La Moon for dim sum

Family was in town for a graduation. We had a wonderful dinner at La Casa de Pedro in Watertown. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, we dined outside on a beautiful evening (parking was free--for early dinner it was also ample).Nice ambiance. It was a discerning group with varied tastes, appetites, allergies, preferences so I kept my fingers crossed when I chose for the group.. Prices were competitive but not overpriced. We had a great time.
O'Sullivan. ..excellent by the way
Pho So 1 in Randolph; hidden gem of a Vietnamese restaurant!
Aka bistro in Lincoln. They just reopen last week after a pipe leak back in December. New menu was awesome!

A true hidden gem: Millie's Kitchen in Crystal Cove, Winthrop. Serving up classic fried clams, buckets of steamers, lobster in many forms (rolls, chowder, steamed) plus a large menu of surprisingly excellent pizzas and sub sandwiches. Large outdoor patio overlooking Boston Harbor, free delivery to all marinas and yacht clubs, and BYOB.
Stoddard's. Peach Farm. Shabu Zen. Q Restaurant.
