We went to a food truck in Wellfleet called Sunbird. They're doing local, organic food and it was FAB; eggplant, micro greens, pickled onion and a fried egg on peasant bread. Great outdoor seating area with container gardens. Loved it.

The Rudder in Gloucester. Great atmosphere on the water in Rocky Neck. Completely packed and the service and food suffered because of it. Waitress was completely overwhelmed. Food is usually pretty good there and most of it was on Saturday except chicken came out medium rare on a salad. I'll still go back.
Rachelle S.
Ab Fab in melrose.

Does Town Spa in Stoughton count? A guilty pleasure for the family!

Tried Cheeburger Cheeburger with my kid. The faux retro interior with really poorly designed signage gave me hives, the burgers were decent, shakes were too sweet. Visitors requested dinner at the Landing in Marblehead. The food is overpriced and underwhelming, but the deck is a great place to sip a drink and watch the comings and goings of the harbor.
Leah K.
Went to try Noodles & Co. which I rank above Panera and below Wagamama, but a good addition to the chain fast good scene. Kimball Farms for ice cream.

Row 34 tapped a rare Cantillon on Sunday and I had to pick my wife up at South Station. A pile of raw oysters, a few fried oysters and clams, tuna crudo, smoked trout, and a lobster roll were natural accompaniments.
Suzanne L. L.
McCabe's On Mass. - North Cambridge (formerly Dubliners, etc.) - sibling of Bull McCabes. Very comfortable atmosphere, attentive and friendly waitstaff - and not overbearing, and very good food. I had a small plate of a couple tacos which were delicious, my husband had a rib entree which he really enjoyed. Also had a grilled focaccia small plate which was a good appetizer with our beer. Good beer list (I would have liked a couple more choices in the craft department, but they're a new place). Great air-conditioning (we'll definitely make this a regular hot-weather stop if that keeps up), and a few large t.v. screens that weren't too loud. Good place to catch the world cup (if you're into that), or, hopefully, hockey come fall.

We were lazy today. After coming back from Church we just wanted to have something good closed from home. We decided to stop by at FRESH UNO that opened last Thursday and let me tell you....Absolutely horrible experience. Their sandwiches are "kids size" the cheapest one is 8.99. The food... no taste at all... we also ordered a deep plate salad, it suppose it came with chick peas and green beans, etc. We couldn't find them. We asked them that salad wasn't served right...and the server just said.... oh...we don't have these ingredients No apologies at all, we ordered Mango Ice Tea and it was bitter, sour, not cold at all. Very bad experience. We came home and I have to cook It is not good addition for our Town.

Family was in town for a graduation. We had a wonderful dinner at La Casa de Pedro in Watertown. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, we dined outside on a beautiful evening (parking was free--for early dinner it was also ample).Nice ambiance. It was a discerning group with varied tastes, appetites, allergies, preferences so I kept my fingers crossed when I chose for the group.. Prices were competitive but not overpriced. We had a great time.

A true hidden gem: Millie's Kitchen in Crystal Cove, Winthrop. Serving up classic fried clams, buckets of steamers, lobster in many forms (rolls, chowder, steamed) plus a large menu of surprisingly excellent pizzas and sub sandwiches. Large outdoor patio overlooking Boston Harbor, free delivery to all marinas and yacht clubs, and BYOB.
