Sun Kong in Malden for Dim Sum on Sunday, (hidden gem, just as good as Chinatown IMO), and had 49 Social Bar Menu for some delicious Duck Quesadillas

handful of places in Maine. Robert's Maine Grill in kittery is a pretty solid place in otherwise food-desolate shopping hell. Simply Khmer in Lowell was really damn good too
Sportello was kick-ass. The whipped ricotta w/rhubarb cooked in a bunch of spices, including cinnamon, served as part of free bread service, was incredible. And the gnocchi was perfect.
L'Espalier. Friend was treating me, so we did prix fixe. Simply amazing.

Uncommon Grounds in Watertown for late breakfast. Had the gluten free stuffed French toast - wonderful, but as usual gluten free bread not very filling so went to Three Amigos in Stoneham for tacos at 2:30PM! Yay for corn tortillas and tacos!
Old Magoun's Saloon. Tried the corned beef brisket sandwich which was tasty but really dry. Good thing for that beer!
tried Helmand in Cambridge for the first time. Great place.

Had a fabulous meal at Gigi's. Housemade pasta topped with an egg fresh from our farm was pretty tough to beat. I'd post the photo but it might make everyone too hungry!

Rye Tavern in Plymouth: Clam chowder served over bacon mashed potatoes AND fried clams (best I have ever had, and why doesn't everyone do this?!?!), crispy brussels sprouts, Pan seared scallops, and grass-fed beef tenderloin. Plus they have a huge garden out back of the restaurant where they grow some of their veggies. Highly recommend!

Had a nice late lunch at the Village Restaurant in Essex-beautiful on the patio!

Went to Aquitaine in the South End for a lovely brunch, mimosas and mushroom, leek and boursin omlette. Also Le Creperie on Newbury Street for a delicious Nutella and strawberry crepe. Boston has a lot of food options!
Cafe Escadrille (Gourmet Room) in Burlington for my daughter's 17th birthday on Friday evening, Rendezvous in Cambridge for dinner on Saturday evening and Trident Bookseller Cafe for breakfast on Sunday.

I finally went to Saray, in Allston, at Packards corner. Really good Turkish food! The falafel was the best I've had!
Casa B in Union Sq, Somerville. Delicious cold cucumber soup with watermelon and crabmeat salad!
Simpli Bar & Bites in Jamaica Plain. Great food and drinks
Beni cafe in N. Quincy. They love working with mango and banana in their sushi. And that's a good thing.
Amrhein's in Southie for dinner on Friday evening, Legal C Bar at Legacy Place for dinner on Saturday, Aquitaine Chestnut Hill for brunch with a group of friends on Sunday (best Blood Mary around), Harvest in Harvard Square for a drink and Upstairs on the Square in Harvard Square for their summer special -- grilled lobstah and fried chicken!!!
Eugene Oneills in JP. Fun staff, eclectic crowd. Decent food.
went to Euno in the North End. I had the Veal Piccata but sampled braised beef bolognese that made me jealous. Delicious!

PB Boulangerie Bistro & Mac's Shack, both in Wellfleet; both spectacular. Blue fin tuna sashimi right off the docks at Mac's; amazing! Spiritus Pizza in Provincetown; always great. Blackfish in Truro-delicious local striped bass. #onvacation

Addis Red Sea in Cambridge for dinner on Friday (love Ethiopian food); Anthony's Pier 4 for dinner on Saturday (for the last time?) and Continental in Saugus for dinner on Sunday!!!
Tulip in Stoneham. Very good spring rolls, sushi and sesame tofu. Lots of options for vegetarians, nice atmosphere.
L'Espalier, fancy. #broke
Empire. The food was impressive!
The Barrel House in Beverly. The food was very good and the cocktails were even better.
Periwinkles in Ipswich. Had some great native steamers and some good (not great) fried clams washed down with a Whale's Tale Pale Ale.
Deep Ellum in Allston. Great food. Busy place. Wonderful beer selection...
belle isle seafood so so fried clams didnt fill me. Onion rings less desirable! Lobster roll had lots meat which was worth it!
steak & onions oriental de Cuba the BEST!!!!
Dim Sum Cate in Medford. Food is excellent. The prices were great & the restaurant was clean. Parking limited. Will go back.

Blackstrap BBQ in Winthrop. I had sticky smoky BBQd chicken wings -- very meaty, spicy with a hint of cumin, very juicy. Also chili mac 'n' cheese was delish, not dry at all, cheesy and spicy with sliced jalapenos. Would definitely go again, looking forward to trying some of the more creative dishes (I was too hot today to deal with much thinking)
Legal Seafood and Maria's both in Braintree and the Mad Hatter in Weymouth. Legal had a great surf & turf, Maria's was OK and Mad Hatter made a decent pulled pork sandwich. Just a little heavy on the bbq sauce.

went to a place in Londonderry NH this weekend called Super Wok Restaurant; the food was outstanding, huge portions, lots of fresh veggies, extensive menu...we used a groupon that got us $30 food credit for $15 and ended up taking alot of our food home, got 2 meals out of my leftovers!
